Set Me Free (30"x 40")

“Set Me Free” is a 30" x 40" x 1.5" original acrylic painting on a gallery wrapped canvas which I have wired for easy hanging. I paint the edges of my paintings so framing is completely optional. Each painting has a glossy varnish finish for protection, is signed on the front, and signed and dated on the back. I love quotes and different quotes resonate with me at different times of my life. So, for every painting in this collection, I have selected a quote fthat I personally feel connected to but that I also feel is deeply connected to the painting's spirit, and have written it on the back of the canvas.

This collection of paintings is all about letting yourself get lost in the cycles of the creative process. Embracing the ebbs and flows of creativity can sometimes feel overwhelming but with this collection I felt very connected to my personal creative cycle. I painted what I wanted when I wanted and THAT is a very beautiful thing for an artist! Some days I felt freer and wanted to loosen up and paint more abstract and other days I wanted to get lost in the details of a more realistic painting. I hope you enjoy this new collection of paintings as much as I have enjoyed painting them for you!
